The new GD-R31 Wireless Keyless Entry Keypad, is compatible with motor units that have a green, yellow, gray, or white "round SRT learn button" on receiver logic board made before 1997 and green square buttons on units made after 1997. These buttons are utilized to establish the keypad code. With this keypad, you can effortlessly open or close your garage door by inputting a personalized 4-digit code, eliminating the need for a remote control or key.
The new keypad comes complete with mounting screws, a battery, and programming instructions.

Locate the GREEN Learn button on your garage door opener power head (it will be a square GREEN button on the end of the motor unit where the antenna wire is located.) You may have to remove the light lens cover on some models.
- Press and release the GREEN learn button on the motor unit of your garage door opener. A yellow light will light up next to the learn button.
- Using the keypad within 30 seconds enter a 4-digit number of your choice and press and hold down on the ENTER key.
- Release the Enter key when the garage door opener motor unit lights blink. If bulbs are not installed, you should hear 2 clicks after 4 seconds.
- Enter your 4-digit code to test the keypad. You are now done.
